MERSTHAM remain in the bottom two after they were unable to sufficiently translate their first-half superiority to withstand Bognor’s strong second-half rally.
Bognor keeper, Amadou Tangara, produced a string of fine first-half saves, the best of which was a double-stop, from Erald Desa and Hus Biller’s follow-up, on 38 minutes.
But he was finally beaten four minutes later, when a sublime flick by striker Korrey Henry found Desa, who took a touch and fired home.
