STOCKPORT Town player-manager Paul Turnbull admits he may have underestimated North West Counties Division One South last season – but is confident his team are better prepared this time around.
Turnbull replaced previous boss Matt Jansen mid way through the season and led the Lions to a creditable 11th place finish.
Now, the 33-year-old has upped the ante by adding some experienced heads over the summer including new captain Tom Morris, and ex-1874 Northwich pair Scott McGowan and Sam Hare.
