NORTH West Counties League Premier Division club Longridge Town have signed striker Dean Ing from NPL Division One West neighbours Colne for an undisclosed fee.
Ing, a former youngster with Bolton Wanderers, Blackpool and AFC Fylde, scored 50 goals in 140 games for Squires Gate before joining Step 4 Colne.
Longridge boss Lee Ashcroft said of his new arrival: “This is a great signing for the club. Although Dean is still only 24, he’s an experienced and successful goal scorer at this level of football and above.”
