Tuesday’s 1-0 win at Midland League rivals Stourport Swifts saw Step 5 City bag a plum FA Cup second qualifying round tie at home to the Pilgrims, last season’s beaten National League North playoff finalists.
The club-record run follows on from last season’s scalping of higher-ranked Evesham United and rattling Step 3 Nuneaton Borough before bowing out in front of the BBC cameras and 888 fans.
