New pair are on song for Magpies

When you lose quality players like Cal Roberts and Kyle Wootton, as Notts County did this summer, they are hard to replace.
Notts brought in Macaulay Langstaff and Cedwyn Scott from Gateshead to address the goal void. Signings from lower level come with the obvious question: Can they make the step up?
Well, they’re showing they can so far. Langstaff, in particular, has started the season brilliantly in front of goal with nine goals in seven games, including a hat-trick against Dagenham & Redbridge last weekend.
