BARTON Rovers recorded their first win of the season with a convincing win over Hertford Town yesterday.
Lewis Thomas bagged Rovers’ first giving Hertford shot-stopper Ronnie Sandford no chance.
The visitors drew level on the half-hour mark through Jesse Waller Lassen with a finish into a bottom corner.
Urijah Gordon-Douglas, though, restored Rovers’ onegoal advantage soon after when Barton broke away and scored on the counter.
