AN absolutely beautiful, sunny and unseasonably warm autumnal day in East London was ruined by a game of football breaking out. A first half in which absolutely nothing happened was followed by a second half in which not much else happened. A shame bearing in mind that this was possibly Cirencester’s longest ever trip east for a league fixture.
In front of another 300-plus crowd, Walthamstow did at least create a couple of chances in the second half, but neither side managed a shot on target in the first 90 minutes.
