MATT Tubbs’ header deep into added time secured Bashley a first away win since returning to the division.
The veteran striker, sent on as a substitute in the second half, provided a perfect birthday gift for manager Paul Morris in the process.
For Cinderford, a run of league matches without a win extends to six.
They cursed their luck when Ben Brooks’ free-kick from distance struck the crossbar, and their mood worsened when Harvey Slade slammed in with power.
