HORNCHURCH returned to the summit but left it very late against Bowers & Pitsea, who ended the game with nine men.
The Urchins started much the brighter and could have taken the lead after a flurry of early chances – Liam Nash and Mickey Parcell’s efforts both blocked before Nash’s curling shot was saved by Joshua Blunkell.
