MARGATE put up a valiant performance against a very good Bishops Stortford side but lost to a solitary goal by Christopher Harris to keep his side top of the table.
The Gate nearly got of to the perfect start when Emmanuel Oke hit a thunderbolt of a shot from 25 yards which just went over the bar.
