CARSHALTON ATHLETIC ended Hastings United’s run of five straight league wins with a well deserved win at Colston Avenue. Two first half goals were enough to lift Steve McKimm’s Robins back into seventh place in the table, while Hastings stay sixth despite the defeat.
Tom Beere and Tommy Bradford had seen shots well saved by Hastings keeper Louis Rogers before Carshalton took the lead in the 27th minute.
