■ HYTHE Town were denied the three points two minutes from time. Under pressure, defender Jason Fregene attempted to tap the ball back to Hythe keeper Steve Phillips to clear. But the ball made its way into the net instead to bring the scores level.
The hosts edged the first half, but it was Three Bridges who came closest to scoring as Kieron Pamment, off balance, slammed the ball against the upright.
The hosts took the lead after 51 minutes as a Frannie Collin corner found Liam Smith who rose unchallenged to head the ball home.
