LEWES endured late Potters Bar Town pressure to grab three valuable points and keep their play-off hopes alive.
On a windy afternoon both sides had to compete with the elements in the early stages of the game and almost led to an early own goal in the home side’s favour, when an over hit back pass saw goalkeeper Louis Chadwick scramble to clear the ball off his line.
Lewes had a good shout for a penalty when Joe Taylor was challenged in the area but the referee saw the offence as a dive and booked the Lewes number 9.
