YORK City boss Michael Morton is targeting “four or five” new faces as he bids to implement a progressive new playing style.
Morton became interim manager when David Webb was sacked in February and averted relegation from the National League with a final day draw against Notts County.
He has now been handed the reins permanently and says City supporters can expect a more front-foot approach next season.
“It’s a real honour for myself to keep managing the club and keep trying to move it forward,” said the former Harrogate coach.
