AVRO began their first campaign in step 4 football with an excellent win against a side who were plying their trade two levels above them last season.
The first half was a very even affair, with the visitors having the better of the goalscoring opportunities after Muis Bibire Bello had hit the crossbar for the hosts early on.
Callum Saunders rattled the post with a header from a Sean Cooke cross, and the Dabbers striker was then denied the opener when home keeper Grant Shenton was quickly off his line to make NEW-look Pitmen earned a point from thei...
