■ BENJAMIN Kakembo’s brace secured an opening day win for Thame United at home to Hadley.
In the third minute, United midfielder Harry Williams had a long-range effort saved by Hadley’s Luke Ward and he blazed a subsequent effort over the bar 20 minutes later. Kakembo opened the scoring on the 41st minute, finishing nicely from eight yards out.
Early in the second half, Hadley started well and were rewarded when Moise Ndandani finished from six yards out. But Kakembo had the last word, in the 85th minute, as he latched onto a ball...
