CHESHUNT recorded their first win of the season in this Friday night game at Hartsdown Park.
Both sides had chances early on, with Ben Greenhalgh hitting the side-netting for the Blues and Bobby Unwin doing the same for Cheshunt.
Opportunities came and went at both ends but some poor finishing and good defending kept it goalless at the interval.
Margate came out on the front foot after the break and Sam Blackman saw his header brilliantly tipped over by Joe Rose.
