TRAFFORD squandered several gilt-edged second-half chances and were held to a goal-less draw in a disappointing game at Shawe View.
The Blues went closest to opening when a Louis Dodds volley was tipped over by Brad Rose in the 35th minute.
The game opened up in the second half and Alfie Belcher should have put the hosts ahead in the 53rd minute with his shot against goalkeeper Adam Whitehouse from point-blank range. Rob Worrall then released Mike Burke with a superb through ball, but Burke fired into the side netting.
