AARON BENTLEY’S brace helped Helston Athletic return to the top with a 5-0 demolition of St Blazey. Jacob Smith gave the hosts an early lead which was quickly doubled by David Barker. Bentley then added a third and grabbed his second after the break. Curtis Damerell’s late tap in completed the rout.
Third-placed Clevedon Town are now the league’s only unbeaten side. Alex Camm’s double from the spot earned them a hard-fought 2-1 win over visitors Street while Barnstaple Town’s unbeaten record ended with a 3-1 defeat at Falmouth Town.
