■ MET Police scored a goal in each half to gain an unexpected win at in-form Thatcham.
They led after only seven minutes when Alex Body capitalised on a weak backheader and nipped in to score.
Met Police looked dangerous on the counter-attack, as Shkyler Burrowes had a shot blocked in front of goal following Mason Galloway’s break, then Callum Smart had to bat away Kareem Akinnibi’s near-post strike
In a scrappy game, Nathan Jones should have levelled for the hosts after the break but rolled his shot wide.
