■ LEAGUE LEADERS Shaftesbury made the short trip to Sherborne
Town on Saturday and lost 2-0.
Anthony Herrin and Ben Wood both scored a goal each for the hosts and keeper Liam Norris saved a second-half penalty to secure the win.
AFC Stoneham closed the gap on Shaftesbury thanks to a 5-1 home win against Hamble Club. The Purps are now four points behind Shaftesbury heading into Christmas.
