■ TOW LAW TOWN were close to only their second point of the season when they were undone by captain Dan Mitton’s 75th minute header that earned Crook Town a 2-1 win at Millfield.
Sunderland RCA remain only three points better off than Tow Law after braces from Glen Hargrave and Scott Heslop saw them crash 5-0 at home to Birtley Town.
At the top, leaders Bishop Auckland have lost only once and Louis Johnson, Craig Gott and Joe Bartliff goals gave them a 3-1 win at lowly Northallerton Town.
