■ LICHFIELD CITY ramped up the pressure on leaders Congleton Town after they stormed to a 6-0 victory at home to Northwich Victoria.
A Dan Smith thunderbolt - one of a brace for the striker - was the pick of the goals but Cameron Dunn and Jordan Clement also bagged doubles as City closed to within seven points of top spot.
