MISHA Djemaili came to the rescue with a brace to seal a point for the Tags. The home side edged the opening exchanges, and Carshalton’s opener owed more than a little to luck. After an attack down the left, the ball fell to Luke Read on the edge of the box, and his deflected strike blazed into the top corner. The Tags came close to equalising seconds later when Sak Hassan whipped a cross towards Luke May-Parrott at the near post, but his strike was blocked superbly by Joseph Bell.
