STEVE Pickup has quit as manager of Midland League Premier Division strugglers Northwich Victoria.
The former Burnley, Bolton Wanderers, Everton, Accrington Stanley, Padiham and Colne player, who had been the Vics’ assistant manager for five years before he was promoted to the top job last April, resigned following their 4-1 home defeat by fellow strugglers Stone Old Alleynians on Tuesday.
