CRITICISM is seemingly being levied at Bath City boss Jerry Gill for his part in the postponment at Slough Town last Saturday but I believe the referee also has a lot to answer to also.
According to Gill, the official gave both managers the option to finish the game following a 25-minute delay in play after a minor medical scare in the crowd.
Scott Davies’ Slough – 4-2 up and with a season’s best 1,600 crowd in attendance – naturally wanted to continue, but Bath – so say Slough – refused, leaving everyone feeling short-changed.
