MATT BARNES has agreed to remain as Northwich Victoria manager at least until the end of the season.
Barnes, who had been assistant to Steve Pickup before he quit as manager of the Midland League Premier Division strugglers, had been placed in temporary charge, along with coach Chris Broad, while a permanent successor was sought.
