Disconnect in game is as wide as ever
THE Step 4 club I volunteer for have just been hit with a fine of £500 for ‘not nominating somebody to throw balls on pitch’. I’ve never seen or heard of this before.
This season, more than ever, the disconnect is growing ever bigger between The FA and its officials and football clubs with clubs feeling the brunt of it, via financial penalties and a kangaroo court appeal system.
The leagues all sit on fair cash reserves and clubs get very little in return during these hard times. Nothing is being done to burden the club...
