NEW Isthmian champions Hornchurch edged closer to achieving a century of points as they got the better of relegation-threatened Margate.
The Urchins’ winner came on 36 minutes when Sean Scannell found himself free at the back post to sweep home Femi Akinwande’s driven ball across the box.
The goal came against the run of play with Margate taking the game to the league winners.
