Frome Town effectively won their tie by half-time. Kane Simpson’s strike gave them an early lead with James Ollis’ double before the break leaving Mousehole with a mountain to climb.
The Cornishmen were given hope when George Rigg saw red for the hosts on 58 minutes, but they couldn’t break through a resolute defence.
A Bristol Derby saw Manor Farm get off to a dream start when Owen Brain put them ahead inside three minutes at Cribbs.
Jacob Hodgson equalised just past the hour but Harry Lucas struck eight minutes later to put Lee Lashenko’s men in front, and they saw it out to reach the final.
Frome and Bristol Manor Farm drew 3-3 on the final day of the Southern League Division One South season, and met in the play-off semi-finals two years ago with the Farmers winning 3-1. It’s been a rollercoaster ride for them – last year they escaped relegation to Step 5 in a play-off, this Monday they have a chance for Step 3 for the first time in their history. Frome are looking to return there after five years away.
