Bromsgrove bring in four

Pitching In side have agreed to sign four players in one day.

Paul Smith, appointed for a second time last month, has brought in midfielder Reece King plus a trio of strikers – Aaron Bishop, Harry Crook and Josh Willis – as they look to improve on last season’s 17th place finish.

Bishop won promotion to Step 4 with Darlastan. He averaged a goal every other game (21 in 42) in the Midland League last term.

Crook excelled at last season, scoring 30 in 31 starts. He’s also played for and .

Willis was with Worcestershire-based Pershore Town last year, scoring 23 in 45 games. He enjoyed two spells with Town as well as representing and .

King ended last term at boyhood club having captained for most of the campaign. He’s the only new arrival to feature in Step 3 last season.

Of his signing, manager Paul Smith told the official Bromsgrove Sporting website:

“Kingy is a fantastic new signing for the club.

“He’s a top player, with lots of Step 3 experience, great leadership qualities, and he will help our younger players immensely.”

All four have agreed terms with the intention to sign after July 1, the earliest players can officially sign for the 2024/25 campaign.
