Pitmen pick up a coup in Elliott

HEDNESFORD Town have pulled off a major coup with the signing of experienced defender Elliott Johnson from Dagenham & Redbridge.
Johnson, 29, started his career at Barnet and amassed 235 appearances for the Bees, of which 105 were in League Two.
He then joined Dagenham in 2020 where he has been a mainstay in the side plying his trade either at left-back or centre-back. He appeared 114 times for the Daggers.
