WELLING United boss Rod Stringer has secured the return of midfielder Gene Kennedy on a permanent basis.
Kennedy initially arrived on loan from Colchester United in February and went on the play a key part in the Wings’ successful fight against relegation.
Now Stringer has snapped up the 21-year-old on a permanent basis following his release by the U’s this summer.
