AMBITIOUS Sholing are piecing together a squad for a promotion tilt in Southern Premier South next season with a series of top signings.
The Boatmen have brought in popular midfielder Benny Read from league rivals AFC Totton, while also adding Billy Stedman following a successful loan spell last season.
Read started his career at Horndean before becoming a fans’ favourite at Havant & Waterlooville.
