NEWLY promoted Great Yarmouth Town got their Premier Division campaign off to a winning start with a 2-0 home victory against Long Melford on Saturday. Connor Deeks and George Couzens were both on target for the home side.
Hadleigh United eventually ran out 2-0 winners at home to Dereham Town despite having a man sent-off just after the hour mark. Curtis Harvey opened the scoring to hand the hosts a 1-0 lead at half-time but Josh Hubert saw red in the 64th minute seemingly to hand a massive chance for Dereham to turn the match around.
