HENDON built on a dominant first-half performance, although Cray Wanderers will feel aggrieved that their second-half show deserved more than a single goal.
The fact the game was even close was down to Wands keeper Shawn Rowley, who produced four fine first-half saves.
In the 14th minute, Kai Brosnan was brought down a yard inside the box and Joe White stroked home the penalty.
Before then, Niko Muir, Brosnan and White had all gone close, while Shaun Lucien rifled a shot into the side-netting from an acute angle.
