FORMER York City striker Reon Potts has taken over as manager at Goole AFC – at the age of 23.
Potts, a product of the Sheffield United academy also played for Scunthorpe United, Tamworth, Matlock Town, Brighouse Town, Marske United and Liversedge
He has replaced Nathan Helliwell who quit after the Vikings lost all of their three opening Northern Counties East Premier games and were knocked out of the FA Cup by visitors Melton Town.
Insisting he was “incredibly grateful for this opportunity,” Potts added: “Time to kick start the season.”
