FALMOUTH TOWN overcame their fellow Southern League South opponents Cinderford Town in front of a large vocal crowd at Bickland Park in their first FA Trophy tie since the late 70s.
The Foresters started strongly with big centre forward Mike Symons and schemer Marley Thomas causing problems for the Falmouth defence who were missing influential captain James Ward.
However, a first-half goal against the run of play on the stroke of half-time by Luke Brabyn sent Falmouth in at the break at 1-0 up.
