EARLY-SEASON pacesetters Potton United put their fine league start to the side to blow away Hullbridge Sports 4-1 in the second qualifying round of the FA Vase.
On a weekend when the Vase took precedent, Jordan Brown’s penalty and Eddie Connolly’s smart finish got Potton up and running in the first half, while Tolu Ikuyinminu and a second from Brown finished off proceedings after the break.
FC Romania exited with a 2-1 defeat to Cornard United, with Colney Heath recording a penalty shoot-out victory over Stanway Rovers following a goalless stalemate.
