BARTON Rovers advance to the fourth round qualifying for the first time in 25 years as they scraped through with a narrow away win at Littlehampton Town.
The Marigolds had reached this stage of the competition for the first time thanks to two penalty shootouts.
And despite their best efforts to equalise in the final third of the game, they just fell short.
Golds had arguably looked the stronger side in the first half, but when a Barton strike was parried away by the Littlehampton keeper and into the path of John Shamalo, his easy shot on 39 minutes put the away side...
