FORMER Exeter City player Richard Pears has been appointed as manager of Western League Premier side Bridgwater United on a two-year contract.
Pears, who also played for Tiverton Town, Mangotsfield United and Willand Rovers, and managed Exmouth Town, Cullompton Rangers, Barnstaple Town, Buckland Athletic and Tiverton Town, has moved to Fairfax Park from Bideford where he was number two.
