WEBSITE ENHANCES DBS CHECKS

A NEW website has been launched to help sports clubs navigate Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
The DBS have launched a Supporting Safer Sports campaign aimed at helping all sports organisations for when they make decisions about staff and volunteers.
It comes following the recent case of former Non-League player and manager Kiernan Hughes-Mason who was convicted of causing life-changing brain injuries to his two-year-old then-stepdaughter back in 2020.
