CHAIRMAN David Haythornthwaite ended AFC Fylde’s search for a manager by welcoming Kevin Phillips back into the manager’s dugout – and then admitted the club were happy to wait as long as necessary to make sure they got the right man.
The former Watford, Sunderland and England striker was appointed head coach of the National League strugglers this week, replacing Chris Beech, who left Mill Farm last month after just one win from his opening eight matches.
