THIS match was more about the occasion than the football, marking Jamie Godbold’s farewell after 20 years of service – 13 as a player and seven as a manager.
The game signalled the end of an era for him as he prepares to take on a full-time role with Premier League club Ipswich Town, the crowd bolstered by numerous former players.
