TIVERTON Town secured a stunning victory over Poole Town, lifting themselves a point above the drop zone and shocking a side in pursuit of an early play-off spot in the Southern Premier South.
The hosts wasted no time in making their mark, taking the lead just eight minutes in. Cam Plain, the Poole keeper, failed to clear Joe Parker’s volley despite getting a strong hand to it, allowing Tiverton to seize the opportunity.
