CHESHUNT put in a spirited performance but fell just short in Mel Gwinnett’s first game in charge.
The home side made a fast start, with Antonis Vasiliou picking up the ball out on the left less than a minute in. He drove toward the edge of the box before firing wide of the near post.
Remi Sutton went close from a similar position 25 minutes later, his slow strike rolling just past the far post.
