A GAME with much endeavour but little skill ended up with Stratford Town emerging with the win.
The first half was keenly contested affair with both sides quick to shut down opponents and little or no composure on the ball. Luke Johnson produced the only worthwhile effort of the first half when he robbed Jack Storer before firing in a low 25-yard effort that was turned around the post by Jacob Weaver.
The Bards forced Royston back in the second half and were rewarded with the match-winning goal in the 53rd minute. Storer...
