Smith’s instincts settle the nerves

DAN Smith’s 28th-minute finish was enough to fire Folkestone Invicta into their fifth win of the campaign, narrowly beating Cray Wanderers.
The Wands were left to rue a penalty miss two minutes before the hour mark, when substitute Anthony Cook’s spot-kick was parried past the post by goalkeeper Jonathan Henly.
Invicta fared better early on, visiting stopper Shaun Rowley making excellent saves to deny Joel-Michael Odeniran’s header and an Amadou Kassarate effort before half-time.
