ASHMORE’S SAVES END SEASIDERS’ BRAVE BID

BOREHAM WOOD avoided an upset against Isthmian Division One North Felixstowe & Walton United after a shoot-out.
The Seasiders created chances either side of their goal by Josh Hitter on 16 minutes. Josh Mayhew and Willie Clemons forced Wood keeper Nathan Ashmore into saves. On the stroke of half-time, Wood’s Lee Ndlovu and Jon Benton had shots cleared off the line.
