■ YATE’S controlled and disciplined performance was undone by two uncharacteristic mistakes in the final 20 minutes.
The home side matched their higher-grade opponents in the first half with James Taylor and Ollie Dewsbury lively on the wings. Hampton’s Jake Gray and Alex Wall brought good saves from Aaron Sainsbury and James Roberts went close twice.
